I think it looks like Europe, maybe Italy (north) maybe Germany, its not Spain i am sure. Although maybe it could be East of USA like Boston college. But what could Annette do shooting in a college in Boston? lol
Well If i have make a bid i will say Italy but you dont use to shoot in Italy, dont?

The shoes, left behind? is it a cinderalla type thing? girl running away, girl being kidknapped and taken? What movie was it from? Girl leaving something for you to remember her by. It could be a thousand things. It is a beautiful picture though. Thats the best about art, you can interpret however you imagine, the point is to make your imagination work. I’d like to think of you, leaving the shoes behind,like leaving your innocence and embracing the sexy wild interesting person you are. Whats more free then running down the street barefoot, laughing,maybe a block away you lose someting else, maybe not, who knows.
Great picture, what was the idea behind it? The word chilling in your description, makes me belive it has a more sinister meaning. But I like mine.
