Bad Month in the Porn Valley

I don’t know how many of you know already about the newest HIV positive case in LA a couple of days ago. Most of the companies are not shooting for security reasons at the moment. Its sad and it makes me very afraid to go back to shooting. I am not in LA since a while, cause I am shooting in Europe. Its really scary for me. Okay, I think in porn your sex is definitely safer than else where. I don’t know anyone of my friends who gets tested every 3 weeks of all kind of diseases.
But lets talk about it honestly: I know some people in porn who take a lot antibiotics before every testing. They think this makes you irresistible of getting a STD. And actually often it makes your test be negative…. But finally this produces a lot of resistances and bacterial strains that can’t medicate with the normal antibiotics.
Its sad how some people only think of making money everyday and don’t care of getting other people something…. It makes me a little …. how should I say – tired of shooting in LA. My health is important for me more than anything else.
I returned to Europe to shoot for my website. So, here all my acteurs get tested five days before the shooting! I didn’t get anything yet…. but sure it can happen here, too… At my times in LA, I had something pretty much once a month….

Annette,please be very,very careful.Overmedicating with antibiotics is NEVER a good thing.Your Body will become resistant to them over time.Your Health should ALWAYS be your number one priority and if that means staying the hell out of LA,then please don’t hesitate.

Yes, “it’s sad how some people only think of making money everyday” and the fact that this kind of people will never change is even more tragic – even if they would think beyond the immediate financial benefits the society just keeps pressing them on and on: more status symbols, more money, bigger, faster (and more dangerous) cars, bling-blings, etc. I really feel sorry for them and I can see how tragic the situation of mankind is. Living life in the fast lane will ruin you and everyone around you quite rapidly.
Take care of your immune system, people: make sure to get your sleep, watch your nutrients intake and do not push it! I remember “Fight Club”: a great warning about the effects of sleep deprivation. And keep the medication to the minimum!
It is very hard to keep all things in our short lives balanced: taking calculated risks, be free but also care about the others, etc. If it would be easy, everybody would do it. But we can help each other and honestly sharing our experiences and worries is a good starting point.

Yes, Heino has a great point regarding condoms. I have noticed more and more, in the porn flicks I’ve seen that condoms are indeed being used. If this is what it takes to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, then so be it. The porn stars, as Annette has stated, must hold their own personal safety first and foremost before anything else. Annette is one powerful, strong individual whom I admire deeply. She is and rightly so, the spokesperson for all in the industry. Kudos to you, Annette — you never cease to amaze me.

I think a little more accent on nasty stuff like anal prolapse delivered sushi, baseball bats penetrations, slaps, BDSM games (eventually in the woods), public abuse and degradation, jackass porn and playing with food offers not only the advantage of being STD proof (I never heard anyone getting an STD from a baseball bat or from being walked in a leash with a plug-in at sight) but also inflicts a lot more hornyness both into the protagonists and the viewers.
I do not know how much we can “control” the reality around us (the movie “Instinct” with Anthony Hopkins offers a good approach of this subject, at least in my humble opinion) but it might be useful not to let ourselves dragged into the mass neurosis of the society.

yeah, you got a good point but addictions are damn hard to break. I smoked for 40 yrs. and it was damn fucking hard ta quit but I did it. It just takes a lot of willpower — something many of us don’t have, unfortunatly.
